FARM TO VASE WORKSHOP

@ LA PRIMAVERA FARMS

Friday, October 12th

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Hosted by La Primavera Farms

221 Middletown Rd. Dundas (Hamilton), Ontario.

Join us at La Primavera Farms for an evening of flower fields, floral arranging and refreshments while experiencing the 'slow flower movement' for yourself.

We have been sourcing locally grown goodness from LPV Farms since the very beginnings of our business and feel so fortunate to have formed such a wonderful relationship with Joanne and her hardworking team. Year after year they work tirelessly to grow a wide variety of flowers on their beautiful property in Dundas, Ontario. From peonies in the Spring to dahlias in the late-Summer {and everything in between - you gotta check out their Instagram}, you can feel the love and care that each bloom receives in the freshness and quality of florals that they grow.

Joanne has invited us onto her farm for an incredible experience, to visit her flower fields and design in her beautiful barn-loft space all while snacking on catered refreshments. A Friday evening well-spent.

After a flower field guided-tour from Joanne (with some bubbly of course), you will ascend to the loft space of the barn where Robyn, Owner of Blooms + Flora, will guide you through a vase design workshop - using the freshest and most seasonal ingredients, grown on the farm.

You will be taught the proper handling and care of fresh-cut flowers, the basic principles of floral design and you will then implement these principles to create a lush and garden-inspired vase arrangement to take home and enjoy!

Don't delay - spaced are limited!

All tools, materials and knowledge provided. Refreshments will also be served.

Tarot Reading + Samhain Wreath Workshop

Monday, October 29th

5:30 pm - 8 pm

Tuesday, October 30th

6:30 pm - 9 pm

In the wheel of the year, the halfway point between the Autumnal Equinox and Winter Solstice is known as Samhain. In the time of the year when we are preparing to enter into the darkness, we are calling on spirits and protective forces to survive this time. This is the origin of our modern day Halloween when we thumb our noses at the dark and tell it that we are not afraid.

Join Stacey Sproule of Lunaria Laboratories for an evening of connection and reflection as we learn how to wrap foraged vines into a wreath form and decorate them with locally grown dried blooms. Each participant will also receive a one-on-one Samhain focused tarot read by Stacey.

Stacey Sproule is an artist, florist, tarot reader and lifelong embroiderer living and working in Toronto. Her work is centered around cycles and a deep commitment to experimentation and process. Her lifelong project is holding respect for and collaborating with the earth.
